Apartment Maintenance: Flagpole Fix - Cheap, Easy, Fast

Are your flagpoles looking shabby, like they've been working hard for way too long?  Here is a quick, super easy, fast fix and in most cases it won't cost a dime.

Bend them back as straight as possible, and give them a fresh coat of latex paint.  That's it and it works wonders!  Semi-gloss white latex is the ideal paint to brighten them up and keep them looking clean.  The best part is, more than likely you have a few buckets of that very paint lying around your maintenance garage.  No money out of pocket!!

Some people like to take it a step further and paint their poles bright colors to help attract the eye of passersby and that is absolutely another inexpensive option.  My best advise for you here is to remember that other colors may limit your color scheme in the future and generally show more dirt and dust than white (believe it or not).   Whatever color you decide this is a cheap, easy way to freshen up your frontage.  Add some new flags and you can give your property a whole new look that is sure to attract attention.
