Apartment Marketing To Seniors - What Works? --SPOILER ALERT---

I ran across this article from Multifamily Insiders and thought it brought up some great points about what works and some common misconceptions when it comes to marketing to seniors.  For instance, are seniors truly technophobic or are they more internet savvy than the stereotype?

What amenities are they attracted to?  Bottom line, how will they find you and what do they value most?

The article was quite insightful.  Spoiler Alert:  Seniors are indeed computer literate.  Not only are they using the internet for shopping and entertainment, but they have embraced social media.  Don't make the mistake of shying away from online avenues to market your senior community.  

As this demographic becomes a much bigger portion of the apartment market share it is important that we all come together and take some time to determine what works.  We have a whole line of marketing signs and leasing banners made specifically to market senior properties.  Let us know what you think.  Are these senior messages and designs ones that would entice your prospects and make your property more desirable?  Any suggestions as to what might work better for your community?  We'd love to hear from you!
